there's WAYYYY more to be announced, Motion City Soundtrack are rumoured to be added to the line up which would make sense because of their new album, Even If It Kills Me, and all. However, don't get you hopes up yet, remember last year Yellowcard and Bowling For Soup were also rumoured to come to the festival but never came (cry). Still, I reckon by Oct 19 (day when they announce ALL the details [bands, dates, venues, etc.] ) we could probably spam their myspace with comments demanding bands we like saying "this band would be cool" suggesting bands to play. Even if it doesn't work, it can't kill you.
Sound like a plan?
Speaking of plans, a simple one of that might I add, Simple Plan are releasing their new single this month. I know, their release dates keep changing. First they said it would be ready by April .. & now it's October .. but still, the wait will be all worth while.
Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) told STM (Sunday Times Magazine, Western Australia) the fooeys will be gracing our shores in less than 6 months also saying "It's sooner than you think".
just incase you don't already know,
THAT'S FUCKING AWESOME!
Oh & anyone cool enough wanting to go see The Spice Girls (why are you laughing?) live in concert, PLEASE don't get your hopes up about getting hands on ticket when they go on sale & DEFINETLY don't go leaving it until the last minute. Their show in london already sold out and, if don't already don't know, you seriously won't believe how fast they sold out. So P!nk sold out in 5 Minutes for her Perth show, Pfffttt. Big deal. Spice Girls? Why THEY sold out in 38 SECONDS! I would suggest pre-ordering tickets today if you can.
Sadly, I can't review anything from the Fall Out Boy show last week because tickets sold out before I could get them. I'm sure I'm not the only FOB fan annoyed seeming as they sold within only hours (which isn't as bad as The Spice Girls, mind you.). Although I can tell you there was a lot of good feed back from those who did go. Actually, more than feed back on the performance, I saw more bulletins on myspace informing fellow myspacers that "Pete Wentz is waaaaaaaay hotter in peson omg". Funny, I thought paying $70 to see a band you love (or "love"), you'd be more inclined to enjoy the music and let it blow your mind. But hey, what would I know? I'm just 15 year old loser who listens to music, not watches music. But that asides, it's good to know that there WERE actual fans there enjoying them selves so I'm happy for them =).
That's all I have on music news for now.
x, Katt.
